ABOUT SIDEJOBS
It's a dog-eat-dog galaxy, and no one likes being broke. So here's the side jobs page! Throughout the course of your characters adventures
and wanderings you may need to work a little to afford a place to stay, for food to eat, or even that shiny new armor you've been eyeballing. Available Side jobs may vary from planet to planet, or at the very least the productivity will vary from location to location.
Note: Licenses. Licenses are required for anyone to legally take on the particular sidejob they choose. Failure to do so, if one so chooses to pursue the sidejob of your choice makes your character a "Outlaw - Physician" Etc.
OUTLAWS
Outlaw: +185 Wong per week, Unlocks "Outlaw" Quests. (Note: A bounty is placed equal to one half of your gained income as a outlaw.)
NOTE: A outlaw may preform any restricted actions of other sidejobs under the same +185 wage earned as a outlaw, but any financial gain made from the gathering of resources, fabrication, selling, or shipping of items pertaining to sidejobs automatically is tabulated onto the users total bounty. This does not unlock other sidejob specific quests, with the exception of "Outlaw" quests. This is listed as 'Outlaw - field hand' or , 'Outlaw - Physician'. Bonuses do not apply to any unlicensed users. The only job unavailable For outlaws to operate in unlicensed is of course, being a Cowboy.
Description: A common term used for freelancers willing to do anything for a buck. Calling yourself a outlaw may sound like a convenient way to
scrounge up cash but it relies heavily off of your personal skills, and the skills required by whomever is willing to pay you for whatever
they want. Because of the unknown nature of Outlaw work, and the general lack of licensing, a "bounty" or reward for capture and arrest is incurred.
Acquiring licensing is time consuming and expensive but will make licensed work free of any bounty accumulation. Tasks generally associated , but not limited to being a outlaw are;
Unlicensed Bodyguard
Unlicensed Pilot
Unlicensed Maintenance
Unlicensed P.I
Unlicensed Bounty hunter
Unlicensed Robbery
Any other unlicensed sidejob or shady dealing
Bonus:
In order to collect a bonus that is more than your designated pay (earn more than +185 wong/week), you must write a roleplay detailing your outlaw shenanigans and adventures for the week. The wong you receive directly correlates with the quality and wordcount of your roleplay. The system is as follows:
A-Level: +200 wong per every 400 words
B-Level: +200 wong per every 800 words
C-Level: +200 wong per every 1,200 words
D-Level: +200 wong per every 1,600 words
In order to receive your bonus, you must state that your roleplay is a "Outlaw Venture" in your thread's Topic Description. If you do not state this, you will not recieve your bonus. Like all outlaw gains, these bonuses are tabulated towards the users total bounty.
COWBOYS
Cowboy: +75 Wong per week, Unlocks "Cowboy" Quests. Allows users who Battle(by whatever means) other users with a incurred bounty, to gain said bounty for those defeated and turned in.
Description: A "Cowboy" is a slang term for those who hunt incurred bounties on behalf of any official law enforcement or
bail-bonding agency. Cowboys are the perpetual rival and opponent to Outlaws who operate outside of the reach of law enforcement. Bounty hunting is a occupation which can prove to be at times , dangerous, time consuming, boring when bounty-heads dry up.
