HOW TO JOIN
Step 1: Read the Site Information
This is the most basic step to joining any RPG. Since this is a heavily detailed game, you must know what is going on before you can come frolic with us. Read the site and familiarize yourself – for once you do, you will be able to know the system well enough to have lots of fun! Once you’re finished taking a look at this How To Join page, we recommend looking at the Rules, the Game Background, and How To Play. After looking at these basics and understanding them, take a peek at the information underneath the "Ingame Content" box on your left. Now, you should be having a good idea of who you want to roleplay as, and you’ll also begin to get a firm grasp on what this game is all about.
Step 2: Register on the Forums
Next, go to the Forums and register. This is how the game is played – we're text-based roleplayers, so as you can plainly see, registering is a must!
Step 3: Post Your Membership Application
Since we focus on the written word, being able to write a roleplay is necessary. The application in the Join subforum shows us that you can handle it. The first step is to make sure your character isn’t taken; check the Occupied Characters page. If you don't see your chosen character there, he or she is not taken and you may apply as that character using the Membership Application Form. If you are making a custom character, make sure that your PB is not already taken. Next, simply copy and paste the application into a new thread in the Join forums, fill it out, and briefly wait for an Administrator's review. Once you are accepted, you have the choice of completing a character biography here. We highly recommend filling it out; it gives both you and others a better understanding of your character. (And you get a reward for doing so, too!)
Step 4: Register on Our Wiki
Once you are accepted as a member, you will receive an invite to the Wiki via e-mail. You will have a specialized page in the Wiki that will serve as an information page, showing things such as stats and equipment. You must join through the invitation in order to make updates to your wiki page.
Step 5: Play and Have Fun!
Once you have all of the previous steps completed, you can start playing! By the time you reach this step, you should already be familiar with how to play the game. Once you have joined the wiki to update your profile, it would be wise to post an update in your update Subforum. Check Here to see which of the following three update groups you belong to. After taking a look at How To Update, you will have the necessary knowledge to make your first update. To start out, you will receive the following (it will be reflected in your wiki and you are allowed to use them in your first update):
· 1,000 wong
· X (DP) & X (AP)
X will be a variable number, depending on your race. For specific starting DP and AP amounts, see Races and Bonuses.
