BOUNTIES


A bounty is a reward offered by a government or law enforcement agency as an incentive for the capture and arrest of criminals known as Outlaws. Those that pursue and capture these Outlaws are called Cowboys, bounty hunters who act as contractual workers outside of the established faction.



OUTLAWS & COWBOYS


Your sidejob is set to Outlaw if you do one or more of the following:

  • Sidejob: Perform other sidejobs without a license
  • Quest: Gain a reward from an OUTLAW quest
  • Theft: Steal items or wong in battle
  • Murder: Kill a player in battle


    If you become an Outlaw, you are assigned a bounty.

    This bounty is available as a wong prize for defeating (and therefore capturing) a bounty head in battle. You must have a legal sidejob as a Cowboy (i.e., have a Cowboy license) to receive the bounty for defeating and capturing a bounty head.

    Bounties are tabulated as such:

  • Sidejob: Half of an Outlaw's weekly income is added towards the total bounty on their head.
  • Quest: The wong rewarded for a completed Outlaw quest is added towards the total bounty.
  • Theft: In battle only, a bounty equal to the total worth of items stolen is tabulated and added towards total bounty.
  • Murder: In battle only, W1,500 is tabulated towards total bounty.


    A Cowboy must enter in battle with the Outlaw (ship or player), and successfully win the battle. Only licensed Cowboys may claim rewards on a outlaw after defeating them. No reward is issued if an outlaw dies by any means. If a party participates on either side, the rewards are split, combined, or remain the same accordingly.

    After a Outlaw is defeated, he or she must then spend a 3 week period in a Detention Center on Heiphong III, and lose 10% of his or her total stats (see here).
