AESIR'S MOST WANTED

THE GREAT DIMENSIONAL CATACLYSM
Much like how a single ordinary stone may contain various compressed minerals, the same can be said for how various solar systems and galaxies coexist and progressively build upon one another. The only thing, is that we just don't see it that way -- we only know our world as one dimension. For example: this stone, this plane of existence, is one of many stones in the great fjord of dimensions.
...But then, many stones became one.
The Great Dimensional Cataclysm (GDC) - EY 2027 / U.C. 0087 / CA 700
By a currently unknown reason, innumerable dimensions and planes of existence simultaneously fell victim to various catastrophes. In nearly every plane, scientists, philosophers, public figures, and religious zealots scrambled to explain the cause of the catastrophes; many hypothesized that it was because of chance or predetermined calculation of a greater design. However -- the epicenter, by many accounts, was the human mother world of Earth. Instantaneously, life-rendering rifts fell across all dimensions of the planet. Through various niches in time, each dimensional Earth endured nuclear armageddons, meteors, natural disasters, world wars, omnipotent beings, warp gate malfunctions... the list was nearly endless. In addition to these catastrophes, another catastrophe was present in the fact that coinciding tragedies were not limited to their own planes of existence. In yet another unexplainable occurrence, the locations surrounding Earth -- as well as their own alternate dimensions -- began to merge, blurring the lines of each reality as all of existence began to overlap.
In this dimensional wake, it is said that Earth radiated with a mysterious energy that projected into a wave so destructive, so powerful, that it reverberated in a sound unheard. It shuddered like a sonic wave throughout the universe, drawing the dimensions of nearby celestial bodies together in mere microseconds. The result is still largely unknown and unexplored, but what is known, is that life will never be the same.
Earth, the epicenter of this large-scale phenomenon, is now left a scared, desolate, and confused land. The terrain is largely unrecognizable; areas where sprawling cities had existed are now warped and twisted into paradoxical whimsies both nightmarish and wondrous. Great canyons and mountains are littered with towers, various wreckage of mankind's tools squirm across green fields. Scaffolding and skyscrapers jut out from stone in places where dimensions melded and fused together. Old empires became extinguished in the blink of any eye, and primitive civilizations became penultimate beacons of sophistication overnight. The galaxy at large was left in chaos, and areas of dominance became challenged by those of past and present.
All that's left for the members of this jagged, patchwork universe, is each other. The members know either war or peace, confusion or bliss -- but all denizens know the infinite states of existence.

OUTLAWS, COWBOYS, AND BOUNTIES

The universe still reels from the disparaging effects of the GDC. Civilizations which stood in their prime 60 years ago still cling to the precipice of sanity and hope, all while looking a stagnantly grim future straight in the eye. These eyes belong to those of outlaws and cowboys, of pirates and bounty hunters, of politicos and anarchists. The galaxy barely knows order and peace – and now, it’s a free-for-all.
Most planetary governments and organizations no longer have the resources or power to stretch out the long arm of the law in pursuit of the guilty. The men and women who choose to defy the law are instantly smacked with the label of Outlaws -- simply because of their known operations outside of any government’ law. When a law is broken, be it theft, murder, or simply mining or operating without a license, A “Bounty" is filed underneath the offending outlaw’s name.
However, governments that are left in shambles operate like rusted cogs in a waterlogged watch. This is when those in the yin of law-breaking are met with the yang of law-abiding. These latter individuals are known simply as Cowboys, extended officers of authority who function in anything but authoritative means. “I wanna be a Cowboy when I grow up!” is a common mantra heard on children’s lips –. There's no doubt that these stalwart upholders of law are honored and respected.
Granted, the same can be said for Outlaws, though their honor and respect are lauded in a darker, different way. Many dream of the Outlaw way of snaking through systems and doing as they please; there is a certain prestige to their character.
Often times, Cowboys and Outlaws play an intricate game of Cat and Mouse. Their relationships are delicate yet hardy strings that crisscross with other threads, and twist into loopholes at every turn. Despite the underground notoriety, these two parties are a major influence of those all across the galaxy.
Z.P.E: BEHIND THE POWER OF ENERGY
In theory, all matter in the universe is submerged in an energy field consisting of dense and hypothetically infinite energies {Zero Point Energy (due to Quantum Vacuum Fluctuations)}. It is believed that fluctuations caused by the motion of mass in this energy is the cause of what we call inertia and gravity. Though much remains unknown, it is known that the energies of the Zero Point Energy spectrum are theoretically infinite. The tapping of this energy would result in a revolution that would end all demands for power and allow unbound possibilities for technology – but no known method exists.
Regardless, several beings have learned how to tap into this energy, turning themselves into super beings with abnormal strength and durability. Through intense training of the mind and body, they have discovered the link between organic and inorganic entities. The Z.P.E field thus allowed them to manipulate some, if not all, of this incredible energy.
By controlling neural pulses combined with sheer willpower pertaining to their surroundings, they are able to create a change in the Z.P.E field to literally make the laws of physics nonexistent to them. Through this, they are able to fly, run at tremendous speeds, and levitate objects. In addition, they are able to draw power from the Z.P.E field to boost all of their senses and abilities, and also to create devastating energy waves that can incinerate matter.
Much is yet to be learned of Z.P.E, but one thing is known: one who has determination and power will become unbound by the laws of the physical reality, and be limited only by knowledge itself.
